Fall Themed File Folder Games | Thanksgiving Activities | Fall Learning Bundle

This Bundle of #7 different fall-themed file folder games will keep your young learners busy all season long! There is a variety of fall-themed games. Some of them being...Apples, Leaves, Pumpkins, Turkeys and so much more. Below is a list of the file folder games included and a little more info on each one.
1. Apple Count & Match Game: This activity is perfect for learning numbers as well as practicing one-to-one correspondence. The #2 pages that you attach to the file folder have baskets with numbers 1-10 on them. There are also #2 pages of apple flashcards. Each flashcard has different amounts of apples 1-10 on them. Have your students count the number of apples on each flashcard and then match it to the correct number basket.
2. Leaf-Themed Shape Matching Game: There are #10 different shapes included in this activity. The #2 pages that you attach to the file folder have dots in the middle of each shape where you can attach a velcro dot to it. You can then attach a velcro dot to the opposite side of the leaf flashcards in order to make the matching process easier. This is a great activity for your young learners to practice matching and saying their shapes.
3. Fall Leaf Color Matching Game: This game is a fun color-matching activity for your little learners. Each leaf is a different color. Have your students practice saying and matching each color together.
4. Pumpkin Letter Match Game: This activity has both Uppercase and lowercase letters and is a perfect activity for your young learners to practice matching the correct letters together. You should attach the #2 pages of pumpkins (Uppercase letters) to the file folder and then cut out the #1 page of pumpkin seeds (lowercase letters). I would attach a velcro dot at the top of each pumpkin and then on the back of each pumpkin seed in order to make the letter matching process easier for your students.
- Turkey Shape & Color Matching Game: This game is a perfect way to incorporate shape and color matching practice in a fun hands on way. There is #2 pages with #5 different shapes/colors on them. You will attach these #2 pages to the file folder and then cut out the #10 different turkey shape/color flashcards with the borders around each one. Your students will practice identifying and matching each shape/color together.
- Turkey Count & Match: This game is a great way for your students to practice one-to-one correspondence as well as number recognition. You will attach the turkey pages with numbers 1-10 on them to the file folder. Once that is done cut out and laminate the turkeys with different amounts of dots on them. These will be the number flashcards. Your students will count how many dots are on each flashcard and then attach it to the correct number on the file folder game.
- Pumpkin Pie Letter Match Game: This game is a fun way to incorporate Uppercase & lowercase letter matching practice. You will attach the Uppercase Letters (Pumpkin Pies) to the file folder and then cut out the whip cream (lowercase letters). Your students will have fun putting "whip cream" on each slice of pumpkin pie while matching the correct Uppercase and lowercase letters together.

Easy ideas for differentiating are included on the directions page to make this resource work for every student in your class!
Print each page on colorful cardstock. Laminate if desired. Cut apart the numbers with the skip counting patterns. Do not cut the numbers with the multiplication equations. Students will match the answer to the multiplication fact to complete the puzzle of the number by which they are skip counting. You can also print the numbers with the skip counting patterns to display in the classroom for a visual reference.

This Match-Select-Name (M-S-N) Reading and Writing Bundle contains both the reading and writing packs of the Basketball M-S-N unit. These units provide resources for the acquisition and fluency stages of the M-S-N method.
The Match-Select-Name method was presented by L. Oelwein. There has been a significant amount of research done on the efficacy of this method.
It is shown to be beneficial for students with exceptionalities including Down’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder who are struggling to learn
to read using phonics.
The resources included in this unit support the acquisition and fluency stages for the 24 words in the set. The sight words in this set are from the Pre-primer and Primer Dolch word lists. Within this bundle there are 6 sets of 4 words with reading books (using both regular and open dyslexic fonts), flash cards, writing sheets and colouring sheets for each word. You will also find a board game using all 24 words.

This scavenger hunt is a fun way for students to learn fun and interesting facts about Ukraine while bringing attention to the country & culture. This resource does not directly address the current climate or war in Ukraine. This resource was designed to teach about the beauty of Ukraine and its rich culture. With this interactive scavenger hunt students will learn fun and interesting facts about Ukraine. For example: Did you know Ukraine used to be apart of another country? Or that Ukraine is about the same size as Texas? The scavenger hunt includes 20 fact cards and asks students to read the cards closely for information to fill in the answer
This scavenger hunt will still work broken into shorter segments for multiple lessons or a shorter activity.
This scavenger hunt also works well as a scoot game!
Animal Walk Cards Brain Break Cards

Guess the animal walk activity card set. This activity set is perfect for classroom brain breaks, transitioning between activities, and movement breaks throughout the school day. Improve your inferencing skills. This is a fun twist on animal walk movement cards. The child will read 3 clues on each card and the guess the animal. The child will flip over the card to see if they guessed the correct animal and then perform the animal walk. This set includes 26 different animals. There are two versions which include 2 cards per page and one card per page for distance learning/ telehealth friendly version or to print double-sided.
I recommend printing the cards and laminating them front to back. This set also includes create your own animal walk card. The child cut and paste an animal and develop clues for the animal.
