Make your own book template! Kids love writing their own stories. This is an easy to print document that students can put together themselves to make their own book. Working on vocabulary or spelling words? Have students copy them at the beginning of the book and then use them throughout the story. Have students share their own stories with others in the class to encourage reading skills. All you need to do is print out a copy for each student, and let their own imagination soar.

Help your kindergarten or first grade students memorize the ch digraph as they create a visual mnemonic device to connect the beginning sound /ch/ with chickens in the shape of the letters ch!
