Clean Drinking Water for First Nations People - Social Studies Canada

Did you know that some First Nations reserves in Canada lack access to clean and safe drinking water? This social studies lesson helps students understand this important issue, exploring the effects of unsafe water and why having clean water is crucial. Students will also learn about the necessary changes the Canadian government must make. If Canada is serious about achieving true reconciliation, ensuring access to clean and safe water must be the top priority. This resource has been used with students in grades 4 through 10!
