Help each animal find its friend by tracing the path from the capital letter to the lowercase letter with these alphabet tracing cards with an animal theme. Each letter is accompanied by an animal that starts with the letter. There are 2 sets of 7 tracing cards for each letter (a total of 218 tracing cards) with a variety of tracing lines including curves, loops, zig zags and more!

These tracing cards give students practice with handwriting by having them trace a variety of lines. They help guide students to follow the line from left to right to mimic how students will eventually learn to write words and sentences and these lines allow students to practice pen control.

In this hands on, multisensory activity, students won’t even realize they are learning! In this resource, they will learn letter formation by first building the letters with bricks, coloring the block letter, tracing the letter, and then writing the letter.

Building letters with building bricks is not only a fun and engaging way to learn letter formation, but students are working on foundational fine motor skills needed for writing. Do you have students who aren't quite ready to print the alphabet, but they're ready for some pre-writing practice? Help your students develop their fine motor skills and learn correct letter formation with these pre-writing activities. Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children have fun using these tracing cards and booklets (so much more fun than worksheets!) to practice all of the strokes used in uppercase and lowercase letters, without actually writing the letters.

Practice with these prewriting cards will make it easy for your students to later transition to the Alphabet Tracing Cards.
