A December Google Forms reading comprehension bundle with ten individual activities about key events in December or famous figures that were either born or died in the month. The activities, which come in PDF format too, have an informational text with comprehension and grammar questions followed by an extension task, are about the following people or topics:

• Rosa Parks, who was arrested on the 1st December 1955 for refusing to give up her seat on a segregated bus; the event gave birth to the U.S. Civil Rights Movement.
• The Japanese attack on the U.S. naval base, Pearl Harbor, which took place on the 7th December 1941 and brought America into World War II.
• George Washington, the first American president who died at the age of sixty-seven on the 14th December 1799.

A class set of activities might take around 15-20 minutes to mark; the teacher can then send the students their marks automatically, which allows them to read back through their work. Nearly all answers are not automatically generated, but only require a small amount of work to assign points. This is because the aim is to get students writing answers and not to just have multiple choice options.

This PowerPoint template has been designed to assist students in creating a well organized nonfiction biography project. The editable slides are highly organized with slide titles needed for a thorough project. Questions and prompts are included so students will always include all critical information.
