Buy 2 and get one free with this unique PASSÉ COMPOSÉ and IMPARFAIT task cards bundle. Each set includes 30 task cards that you can use in a number of ways with your students. Practice the passé composé all by itself, then the imparfait all by itself before ultimately combining the two with these 3 sets of task cards.

These cards offer an excellent opportunity to see the many ways in which we can use the passé composé as opposed to the imparfait. There's a nice mixture of common regular and irregular verbs to work with. For the passé composé there are verbs using both avoir and être as helping verb. An answer key is provided.

Students can work with a partner as a cooperative activity and to practice speaking or they can work individually to practice writing. Task cards are a nice alternative to worksheets which can sometimes seem tedious or boring.

Just print, cut out and laminate these cards and you're ready to go, no prep for years to come! If you look in the upper left corner you'll see a space where you can neatly punch a hole in each card and then connect them with a keyring. This really makes using these task cards easy enough to decide on using at the drop of a hat, and they make for fantastic review.

This is a NEW "Remue-Méninges" game from Love Learning Languages. I love to play the game Brainstorming with my students! Easy to play and use with beginners and advanced students alike. This Remue-Méninges set is a special Petit Prince edition.This Remue-Méninges set includes 50 cards with French and English and also includes files in French only. Great for French immersion schools!

Object of the game

One player or team tries to get his teammate to guess the words related to the first word. The player must give clues in FRENCH. Teams score points for each word successfully guessed in 3 minutes. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins. The teams take turn guessing and verifying the words have been guessed. You can also play this game in pairs! Amusez-vous bien!

You can also have your students study the vocabulary on the cards!

French Passé Composé - Être ou Avoir - Verb Race Game

Verb Race is a fun and very exciting way to practice the passé composé with être or avoir conjugations. Your students are going to love this set of 75 French verbs to use in the fast moving verb race game. This set includes 75 common regular, irregular and reflexive verbs.

Classic verb race involves dividing the class into teams and one person from each team goes up to the board to conjugate faster than everyone else. I've included full instructions, tips and rules with this resource. Verb Race has always been a huge favorite in my classroom.

In classic Verb Race it is usually the teacher who moderates the game, but in the instructions I'll explain in great detail how you can play a student led game so that even your weakest students can participate and learn a ton.

Use this set of INTERMEDIATE to UPPER-INTERMEDIATE FRENCH conversation prompt cards to get even your most timid students talking to each other in French. ➤ Use as a warm-up speaking activity or ice breaker with a conversation partner. As students enter the classroom have them choose 2-3 cards from a box.
