To use these cards, the students will look at the addition equation on the card.
They will solve the problem either mentally or with counters. After solving the problem, the student will open the card to see if they were correct.

To assist students who need more practice with addition facts, the teacher can add counting objects such as mini erasers, counting cubes, bingo chips, or other small manipulatives for students to solve each addition problem.
