This ESL (English as a second language) weather themed "question of the day" or "bell ringer" resource helps to encourage conversation while expanding vocabulary. There are also "four corners" and "Stand up if" slides to combine language learning and movement. Starting your class each day with a daily question is a great way to get students talking, and it establishes a low stress routine.
