Think it, Say it, Rephrase it: Emotional Regulation Social Filter SEL Activity

Teach your students the nuances of communication.
They will learn how to differentiate things that they would say aloud, keep to themselves or try to rephrase in a more considerate way. They will also think critically about how context may change meanings.
Excellent for social-awareness as they think about how their words affect others. When they think about rephrasing, it encourages students to think about alternative ways to express the same idea. This increases self-awareness and self-expression skills and creativity.
