Functional Job Skills Filing by Alpha & Color Bundle Special Education & Autism
by Exceptional Education CAThis Functional Job Skills - Filing Work Task Box Bundle includes filing by color and alphabetically. Functional job skills task boxes are an important part of a Special Education Classroom as they support students in learning skills that can be used as they move toward the world of work! The included teaching instructions walk you through the scaffolding process using the prompt cards to allow you to support students as they increase their independence and learn a new job skill. Each task box set includes multiple levels for students to progress through.
The Filing Task Box Set includes:
- 5 progressive levels of skills working toward filing by last name
- Full set of upper case and lower case dividers
- Full set of 5 cards per alphabet letter for each progressive letter (Total of 620 filing cards)
- Teaching strategies for each of the 5 levels
- Student prompt card for each of the 5 levels
Progressive level details:
- Level 1 - Matching letters filing cards. Includes upper case, lower case, and 2 different fonts.
- Level 2 - First name filing cards with first letter highlight.
- Level 3 - First name filing cards with no highlight.
- Level 4 - First and last name filing cards with first letter of last name highlight for student prompt.
- Level 5 - First and last name filing cards, no highlight, for skill mastery.
The Color Filing Task Box Set includes:
- 4 progressive levels of skills working toward filing by last name
- Full set of divider cards for each level
- Full set of filing cards for each level (Total of 400 filing cards)
- Teaching strategies for each of the 4 levels
- Student prompt card for each of the 4 levels to increase independence
Progressive level details:
- Level 1 - Matching colors, filing colors without color names, filing colored object cards.
- Level 2 - Filing colors with color names.
- Level 3 - Filing color names with color font prompt.
- Level 4 - Filing color names with black font, no color prompt.
