This core French FSL resource helps to review basic vocabulary. There are options for daily "Questions du jour" and engaging games. Students can practice interviewing classmates or spend time learning school vocabulary. All activities are designed to be print and go review activities for anytime of year. Take the stress out of planning for your beginner FSL classes!

Resource 1:

This core French FSL resource helps to review basic vocabulary with a daily question. Start your class off each day with a warm up question du jour or activity. It is a great way to get students talking and help you to establish a low stress routine with no extra prep. 
Included:
- Teacher overview
-Over 30 suggestions for "Question du Jour" and activities with basic beginner vocabulary
-Fourteen additional "Stand up if.." questions or "Lève-toi si"
-Short writing and drawing prompts with images
-Includes a moveable date and weather chart
-Listen and vote for their favorite music using a conversation mat
-Mystery items and photos

Resource 2:

In this resource, students can interview their classmates to get extra speaking practice. Next they can either write about the classmate (Tout sur ____) or about themselves with several templates to pick from (Tout sur moi!). Finally there are 24 personal basic profiles given with 3 suggested games and activities for more speaking practice with personal questions (i.e. How old are you? What is your favorite pastime?). There are 22 interview questions included which students can use for support while writing a paragraph. There is a simplified version also included.

Included:

-Four template formats including smartphone, retro signs, basic style or pennant flag

-A list of 22 basic questions (with English for support) - this allows students to pick their own sentences or it could be used for an interview

-Blank templates that allow for more personalized sentences

-Additional templates to write about a classmate

-Twenty questions handout (with English support)

-Twenty-four basic personal profiles and suggested activities and games

-Bonus activity : Guess who ? Students write 8 clues and classmates have to guess who it is...

Many of the “Question du jour” or “Warm up” activities can be done within a notebook. It is recommended that you pick a “prof du jour” to ask the questions to the class for even more oral practice. This also helps with substitute preparation when you have an established routine.

Please note you must have access to Youtube to play the music videos. The music can be changed as these are not part of the purchased resource.

French questions interview FSL tout sur moi all about me speaking me voici

Introducing a back to school French Second Language FSL resource to help review basic personal questions with core French students. This is a great way to get to know your students.

Students can interview their classmates to get extra speaking practice. Next they can either write about the classmate (Tout sur ____) or about themselves with several templates to pick from (Tout sur moi!). Finally there are 24 personal basic profiles given with 3 suggested games and activities for more speaking practice with personal questions (i.e. How old are you? What is your favorite pastime?).

In addition to the pre-designed templates, there are blank options which gives more flexibility to stronger classes. There are 22 interview questions included which students can use for support while writing a paragraph. There is a simplified version also included.

This resource works as a low prep review activity or for a substitute plan. These worksheets can be printed and some can also be uploaded to your Google Classroom for seamless digital completion.
