My own students are absolutely in love with these bookmarks. They found it fun to complete the different bookmarks and couldn’t wait to get their hands on the Visualize bookmark. They literally begged me to do them again. As a teacher, I loved that I could be strategic with who received which bookmark. We’ve used them with novels during silent reading time, a short story from our ELA curriculum, and online news articles. I don’t think they realize just how much critical thinking and close reading they are doing. To them, they’re just having fun!
