This ESL English resource helps to encourage speaking and writing about outdoor sports and activities. There are engaging templates included which focus on planning an outdoor adventure. Students respond orally to each question, as they add on to their “adventure” plan. This “print and go” resource takes the stress out of planning. This could also work as a step by step substitute or sub plan.
Students enjoy being creative as they add artwork and sentences to their paper bag backpack (templates included as well as other writing options).

This activity bundle can be done over several classes, by starting your ESL class off each day with a question of the day. Students write a sentence each day to add to the writing templates.

Greek and Latin Roots - Root Words Lists and Quizzes for 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade

This Latin and Greek roots and stems UNIT ONE AND UNIT TWO BUNDLE is perfect for teachers who want their students to learn common Greek and Latin roots. Each unit includes:
These files can be used for ANY grade level, but have mostly been used with 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students.
NOTE: The test at the end of each week includes 20 word parts (except the first week only has 10 because there isn't an established pool to pull additional parts yet). For the ninth week, there is a final test with all 80 word stems/roots.
Since each week builds on the previous week, the retention of information remains high. As an added activity, my own students keep a ring with flashcards on them in their desks/backpacks and will add ten new stems each week, so that they can study ALL the stems each week, not just the new ones for that week.
This file is the FIRST UNIT AND THE SECOND UNIT. Each Unit has 8 weeks of new words with an additional week to review and test.

Introducing English ESL EAL ELL resource bundle to help review basic questions with students. This is a great way to get to know your students as you have many low prep templates and engaging activities. Play 4 corners to learn students' preferences or interview a classmate.
Resource 1:
Students can interview their classmates to get extra speaking practice. Next they can either write about the classmate or about themselves with several templates to pick from (All about me!). Finally there are 24 personal basic profiles given with 3 suggested games and activities for more speaking practice with personal questions (i.e. How old are you? What is your favorite pastime?).
In addition to the pre-designed templates, there are blank options which gives more flexibility to stronger classes. There are 22 interview questions included which students can use for support while writing a paragraph.

In this resource, students can interview their classmates to get extra speaking practice. Next they can either write about the classmate (All about ____) or about themselves with several templates to pick from (All about me!). Finally there are 24 personal basic profiles given with 3 suggested games and activities for more speaking practice with personal questions (i.e. How old are you? What is your favorite pastime?). There are 22 interview questions included which students can use for support while writing a paragraph. There is a simplified version also included.
