How can this product work for distance learning?

I personally have used these readings in my online classes during our COVID-19 closure with success! Use the digital file to post the stories with questions and activities on Google Classroom. The students can read the stories, insert their answers to the comprehension questions, and fill out one of the practice activities. You could also assign the stories ahead of time and set up a virtual class meeting to discuss the stories, or read the stories together as a whole class or in small groups during a virtual meet-up!

'¿Qué te gusta hacer?' is an easily comprehended story of a conversation between two people meeting for the first time and getting to know each other. This story work well for any unit that includes basic verbs (like to work, to dance, to read, etc.) and includes the grammatical structure of different me gusta / te gusta phrases.

'¿Cómo eres?' follows a description of Rosa and her friends. Even though this group is all friends, they are very different from each other! Remember that this Slide is to re-enforce (practice) what students are learning in the classroom, it does not contain lessons. This resource encourages students to move outside their default thinking style and helps them self-reflect and move towards a more rounded and robust viewpoint.
