Students will determine which number is unlike the others. There are no wrong answers as long as the reason can be explained with mathematical vocabulary. Students will then be challenged to come up with a reason why each decimal could be different.

Twelve different number puzzles include concepts such as odd and even, sequential numbers, prime and composite numbers, factors, place value, and perfect squares.
