5th Grade Creative Writing Interactive Notebooks

Sometimes it feels like teaching young children how to write an essay is impossible. The My Essay Writing Lapbook makes this process so much easier. Students will learn how to make an Essay Writing plan, find a powerful lead, and write an essay using this Lapbook. The lapbook is a fun and interactive way for kids to organize their thinking process.

Headlines! By writing a newspaper article for the pretend Mayan News, students familiarize themselves with journalism and how to write headlines.

Venn Diagrams show the relationship between two ideas. A venn diagram can have two or more circles. When the circles overlap, the venn diagram shows the similarities between the two or more ideas. In the spaces where the circles do not overlap, it shows the differences between the two or more ideas.
