These January/Winter line plots are perfect practice on reading and creating a line plot. There are two different line plots. The first line plot has students look at the snowfall for the month of January and answer 6 different questions using the line plot. The second line plot has students measure snowflakes to the nearest quarter inch and record their data on a line plot that they draw. Then answer 6 questions on the line plot they have created. So students will need a knowledge of using a ruler to measure to the nearest quarter inch to finish one of the line plots in this product.

My experiences in the classroom have shown me that rhyming can be really tricky for students to understand. Need a Christmas activity to save your own sanity and keep your students engaged with partial quotient division practice at the same time? We all do! This Christmas math craft project will have your students practicing partial quotient division and creating an adorable holiday gingerbread house craft at the same time, perfect for hallway display or to send home as a Christmas treat.

Watch your students enjoy the magic of Christmas while they choose their answer to class-building questions such as "Do you prefer your hot chocolate with or without marshmallows?" and then solve a partial quotient division problem. The answer to the partial quotient division problem will provide students with directions for adding certain types and numbers of decorations to their gingerbread house math craft.
