If you are using the worksheets, print and play! If you are using the stations you will print the six station cards (per puzzle) and one answer recording sheet per student or group. Spread the station cards around the classroom how you want, and tell students to find the puzzles and solve them using their answer recording key.

Desert Island Explorer is an engaging, two-week game-based sub unit designed for grades 5 to 9, offering an immersive and bilingual experience centered around the theme of desert islands. This project-based learning module combines elements of language arts, science, and teamwork to enhance students' critical thinking, creativity, and collaborative skills.

• Lessons are provided in English, and all activities within are French and English.
• These products work in English or French classrooms.

Nothing is more stressful than having to leave work for an extended time: our profession requires us to plan, to create engaging resources, and to assume the subs covering have French capabilities. We all know that's... not the reality of this profession. Grab a bowl, hat, or box, and take these sentences, cut them (and laminate them if you want), toss em around, and let your students read and discuss what could be fictional and nonfictional. As this was meant to be an introductory lesson, maybe they won't know those words yet, so you can accept "realistic" and "not realistic," or whatever language works for your classroom! This is an engaging digital breakout room that is NO PREP! Students will enjoy this digital breakout website that has them solve four logic puzzles to find all the necessary keys to beat the leprechauns puzzle and win the pot of gold! Students will use the Google Form that's embedded in the website to fill in their guesses for the passwords. They will get an immediate response on whether their guess was correct, (which will allow them to go to the next rooms submission), or tell them to try again. This website is great for struggling readers as well because an AI avatar is able to read all directions/information aloud to the student if needed.

This is a fun Christmas game mat for matching Christmas figure faces with their feet. It includes 8 cards for faces and feet. This can also be played just like memory match/concentration using the face to the feet or using the mat. It's perfect for a center, table work, small group/pairs, or whatever best suits your needs!

This engaging 5th Grade Back to School Math Review Escape Room Activity is the perfect first day/week resource to practice essential math concepts learned in 4th grade in a fun and dynamic way.

Students will work through 4 tasks (totaling 22 practice problems) to escape the locked school. Skills covered include:

• Place Value: Comparing Two Multi-Digit Numbers (4.NBT.2)
• Adding and Subtracting Fractions with Like Denominators (4.NF.3)
• Multiplying Multi-Digit Numbers (4.NBT.5)
• Measurement (4.MD.2/4.MD.3)

This resource includes both a print and a digital version. The print version is extremely low prep - you simply print out the pages (detailed instructions included) and go! The digital version is completely no prep - you simply share the link to the Google Form with your students (it is self checking and students will not be able to move on to the next task until they correctly complete the current task).

This back to school math review not only revisits critical standards but also promotes teamwork, critical thinking, and a love for learning! The math is straightforward, but students will have to read directions carefully to crack the codes :)
